PROMETA Clinical Consultant (PCC)

The PROMETA Clinical Consultant (PCC) will be primarily responsible for calling on physicians and allied health professionals who specialize in the treatment of alcohol and stimulant addictions to raise awareness of the Prometa Treatment Program for substance dependence. This opportunity is a field based position currently available in Dallas, TX

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The (PCC) will identify and/or create patient referral sources in the physician and allied health communities within an assigned geographic territory.  Will effectively present the scientific features, advantages and benefits of the Prometa Treatment Program to key thought leaders and decision makers.  Will work closely with the Site Management Team and execute referral strategies for licensee(s) within the assigned region.  The (PCC) will actively participate and attend Hythiam training and sales meetings and as directed, attend local and national professional trade shows and events that promote the Prometa Treatment Program.

Abilities, Skills and Knowledge

Qualified candidates must be extremely organized and able to set and achieve goals in a timely and consistent manner. Communication skills must be credible and persuasive in person and over the telephone, must be empathetic and integrity driven in developing relationships.  The (PCC) will have the ability to present highly technical information and have a high clinical aptitude regarding the science of addiction and the PROMETA Treatment Program. Computer literate with expertise in Internet research, Microsoft Office and other business software applications.
Education and Experience

A bachelor’s degree is required and a minimum of three years of healthcare sales experience calling on physicians, psychiatric and/or addiction medicine experience preferred. Experience establishing relationships with advocacy groups and professional audiences and a solid understanding and demonstrated experience in launching new products and services.
