Hythiam currently offers the PROMETA® Treatment Program to government agencies and criminal justice treatment providers as either an integrated disease management offering or on a license basis.  As the escalating cost of traditional substance dependence treatment increasingly strains federal and state budgets, our government partners are looking for a powerful, workable solution to the crisis.

Hythiam is committed to engaging and helping criminal justice treatment providers manage the chronic condition of substance dependence in their populations.

Entities that have adopted the PROMETA Treatment Program:

  • The City Court of Gary in Gary, Ind., for the treatment of criminal offenders dependent on cocaine and crack cocaine. To read more about the pilot click here.
  • The Pierce County Alliance in Pierce County, Wash., for the treatment of criminal offenders dependent on methamphetamine.
